What a brilliant day! Started walking with the frost just lifting and an ether clear sky. Once the sun was a bit higher it was really hot again. Sat for ages here having coffee and watching Black Darters warming up and flying.
A General Wade military road leads to this spot and was the only route north south in the eighteenth century. No-one using it today!
