Archaeologising again
Today out in a neighbour's boat to the back of a large uninhabited island called Ronay to survey the area for archaeological sites.
Interesting ruins and walls in places but this particular black croft was probably the most atmospheric. Probably over two hundred years old and hugely remote, the stones would have all sort of stories to tell I am sure.
Good to be back messing about in boats and pottering about in the hills.
Evening meal round at a neighbours included a week quota of calories if not more.
