Bathed in sunshine

Later-than-intended start to the day - so it was a bit of a rush to paint the last little bit of courtyard wall before setting off to Alnmouth for MrM's charity gig with Swing Street (the jazz band)!

It was at a beer festival - MrM announced that they had a good range of ciders on offer but, as I like scrumpy and these were "real strawberry" and "real elderflower" among other fruity flavours, I stuck to the coffee. What's wrong with APPLE cider?!

Nice walk on the beach after the gig - there was 'weather' coming in, as they say, but the beach was bathed in sunshine while we were there.

We'd planned a meal our local pub this evening, but at 7.30pm discovered that they stop serving food at 2.30pm on Sundays! Never mind - a couple of drinks later we bought ready meals from the local shop and came home for dinner...
