I see no ships

I went to Mote Park for a walk. The weather wasn't particularly friendly but at least the drizzle held off until I was half-way round the lake and as far from the car as possible. I was surprised to see these guys on a bare tree on a tiny island. In fact I didn't notice them at first as I was watching the heron at water level. 

Piece of learning today was that Mote House was designed by Daniel Asher Alexander who was also the architect for both Maidstone and Dartmoor prisons. I assume that Mote House was a tad more comfortable than the other two sites - I know both well and neither is a place that I'd like to spend a night.
