Gloriana

So, there we were sitting minding our own business quietly at Shepperton Lock when someone came up and said "Has Gloriana gone through yet?" Blank looks from us. "Is it a big boat?" I asked. "It's the gold one" was the reply. And then a hoard of people turned up all waiting with cameras and eventually Gloriana turned up to go through the lock.

Then we went off to lunch at the place where my brother was the chef in 1964.
