Happy Birthday to Me!

My birthday! C and co. arrived at about 11am and I had a lovely play with the kiddies.

The others arrived and we had the butternut squash lasagne I'd made from my new book and figs, honey and marscapone. Yum. We spent the afternoon relaxing in the sitting room, with the rugby on in the background, skyping with C in Oz and generally having great family time.

It felt odd with P (currently in France) and B not being there. We are a slightly smaller group these days but it is no less enjoyable. I am so blessed to have such a fabulous family.
