Castles and Flowers

First day of the weather not being up to much, few drizzly showers so I guess we can't complain!

We visited Picton Castle with its great walled garden with fernery and some fantastic planting around the grounds.

We then went on to Carew Castle and did a short walk which had the Castle in view most of the time (see moated extra photo)  Nice lunch at the pub in Carew.  

Very drizzly by mid afternoon so we stocked up on beer and went back to the tent!
