Another summer's day...

....in Cheshire!

Despite the miserable weather we ventured into Altricham. I like shopping in little indepedent shops and the market. It's easy to forget what great bargains are to be had .... My favourite stall today was the haberdashery where I found the perfect buttons for my red dress, at the bargain price of 56 pence for 8. Had a lovely chat with the guy who runs it. He was telling us how he had been inundated by people buying gold sequence mesh by the yard, to recreate the Olympic torch! :-)

Unfortunately the heavens opened and we ended up sheltering in a high street coffee shop, where we spent almost an hour, people watching and reading the paper.

A nice way to spend a not very nice day.

Rock of Ages tonight... I have my doubts but P is keen... I am somewhat intrigued by the Cruise-Brand double act! Will no doubt share my verdict with you tomorrow!
