A little sunshine...

...goes a long way.

We went on one of our favourite local short walks. It takes us across the river Bollin, through the Dunham estate, along the canal, back to Dunham and most importantly to a perfect little tea room, appropriately named White Cottage Tea Room. It's only tiny but has a lovely cottage garden to look out over.

The battle of clouds vs sun was in full swing today, as you can see from my blip the clouds definitely had the upper hand. I liked their reflection on the canal, but unfortunately you can't quite recognise Dunham Hall in the background.

Lovely day, spent with my lovely husband. He is going into hospital in the morning and I think both of us are just starting to feel a little nervous about it although neither of us is willing to admit it ;-) its a common op and I am sure he will be fine! Roll on this time tomorrow when its all over done with!
