Privileged

I feel so lucky that I am now in a position to enjoy the work I do. I have had times, in the past when I have literally felt sick at the thought of going to work. Not because of the actual teaching or the children but the paperwork and the adults! Now I have the opportunity to not only teach students who will be the teachers of the future but also to visit them while they are working in various schools in the area.

As we have only lived here for about 15 months all the schools are new to me, so I am finding my way around the area (thank you SatNav) and discovering some lovely schools, children and staff. Today, the view from the school car park was amazing, it literally took my breath away........unfortunately I had taken just two photos when the battery died and then I remembered the spare battery was at home! This is all there was but I hope you agree it's a pretty attractive tree! To make matters worse the most amazing formation of geese flew overhead as well AND Stonehenge looked great as I drove past it! Will I never learn?

Even though I am enjoying my job, I remember the feeling of not being happy at work very well and I feel for my dear friend Caged Bird who is suffering at the moment.
