Dyffryn Gardens again

There is so much to see at Dyffryn Gardens. My blip for today is a bronze sculpture of a Japanese man riding on Ox back whilst reading a book. It is thought that the man on the ox is Sugawara no Michizane (845-903), a Japanese scholar and courtier. The sculptor of this bronze is thought to be Takamura Koun (1852-1934). The sculpture was presented to Dyffryn Gardens by  Grenville Morgan in 1951.  The whole thing is full size and the detail is incredible, and I hope you like it as much as I do!
