We made it into the 21st century today and had a shiny new boiler installed. The installers were a fun pair of Brummies who did a great job and so far I'm very pleased with it. I was very disappointed however to discover that the pressure gauge is red and green which are the two worst colours for people who suffer from colour blindness - that's 1 in 12 males and 1 in 200 females. Clearly the person who designed the gauge was not in one of these groups.

In other news, my car failed its MOT :/ On the bright side this was only due to a flooded indicator repeater in one of the wing mirrors. The replacement part has been ordered and the MOT certificate will be forthcoming tomorrow once it's been fitted.
