Are we being studied?

Ants in this part of the world are intelligent and more highly educated than you might think. With their complex social structures some think they will take over the world when we have finished our turn.

I found this ant this morning engrossed in a book. I managed to get near enough to see that it was the Collin's Field Guide to Human Beings. No doubt it was searching to find the Latin name for a Yorkshireman so that it could tick me off and show its erudition to its friends.
