Knippel Bridge, Copenhagen

Today, after we'd checked out of our hotel and dumped our suitcase in a locker at the station, we walked miles to get to the Danish Architecture Centre on the other side of the harbour.

On the way we had to wait to cross the bascule bridge (like Tower Bridge) while it opened to allow a huge crane to pass. It was quite exciting to see the road leading up into the sky, but by the time I got my camera out, it was coming back down to earth!

The rain started just as we were heading for the station to catch the train back to Brande.
