Danish shoes

The custom in Denmark, I'm told, is to take off your shoes when you enter any house. I think it's a very sensible custom. The down side, especially when you share a house with three others as K does, is that you end up with an interesting assortment of shoes all over the floor at the front door!

Today I met lots of lovely people at K's church in Herning and this evening we were invited into the home of a Danish family to share a meal with them. It was the perfect way to end my stay here in Brande.
