..A great tit.

It's not a great shot but I was pleased that I heard it and 'found' it.

I'd been gathering up leaves in the garden so was feeling more than autumnal and I felt this image summed up the feel of the day more than the other contenders (berries and leaves).

I have driven the car today!
This is the first time I've driven since the broken bone in my foot in July.
Also, it's a different car since July (one which I hadn't test driven) but phew! It's ok! 

Home made pesto for tea.
I take no credit for this.
The inspiration comes from a clever daughter, who makes it by the bucketload. (But how does she not eat it in bulk too? It's as different from shop bought pesto as anchovies from traffic bollards.
In the good way, obviously).

In other news, I'm learning to love Rugby :-)
