National Bum Heading Championship

There's no such competition as far as I know.  There is, however, the German Rowing Championship going on down at Schierstein.

We had a wander round and watched a few races - it was quite fun to watch.  But it was cold* and a bit windy and we had shopping to do, so we were only there for a little while.

And in exciting seasonal news, we heard our first migrating cranes tonight.  It's a very odd noise to hear in the dark.  Hopefully we'll get to see some tomorrow.  Elwetritsche, keep looking up :-)
