Billy Goats Gruff Bridge

Brunch at the Red Barn was followed by a walk around to feed the animals.

Sebastian (Grandson) had fun "tromp tromp tromping" across the bridge and scaring off the troll.

He also had fun gently stroking the baby chickens, with mother hen looking on proudly (see extra photo). She wasn't the least bit concerned about him handling her babies - but she wasn't so keen to let us near them.

Sebastian, Sarah and Ben, left about mid-day and I've had my nose to the grindstone since then, working hard because school starts back tomorrow.  Lots of paperwork to catch up on and planning to do.  I just raised my head and realised it's 3 p.m. so it must be time for a quick cuppa and a break to post my blip.
