Cruising

I had a text from a friend early this morning that read, "How about a topless drive to Reid's store cafe at Maruia for lunch?"

Sounded too good to miss, so I was up for that!

We took a drive down there - in the convertible - it was perfect weather for driving with the top down. Spent two hours over lunch - yup, we had to have a second coffee as there was still so much to talk about.

On the way home I stopped a number of times to take photos - including of this wee waterfally creek I spotted. I have no idea if the creek has a name, but it is just before Maruia Lodge on State Highway 65.
