Cauliflowers

12.8C starting with showers, then dull and dry. Light breeze.

Grocery shopping this morning then home.

Before lunch Apothecary7 and I took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. Just past the church there were tractors and a gang of workers in the field we thought was cabbages, but turns out to be cauliflowers. Picking was in progress. It looks like back breaking work. We carried on along the road, turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road.

We came back along the cycle path then Apothecary7 went home up the shore road. Maeve and I continued round in a long loop, heading into Carnoustie then up the main road before turning along for home. The F1 from Russia had started by the time we got home but I was in time to watch about half of the race. Lots of exiting racing, some incidents, and a good solid win for Lewis Hamilton.

World Cup rugby union on the telly this afternoon.
