Selsey Lifeboat station

Nearly forgot to get a blip today but as we did go for a little walk around the block I did manage to a picture of Selsey Lifeboat Station, who's sadly, it's days are numbered.

The plan is to dismantle this structure and move the lifeboat to a shore based vessel.  It does seem a shame but apparently the structure needs an awful lot of maintenance that costs way too much money.  I just wish somebody out there would turn it into a nice restaurant or tearoom  I'd go just for the views!
