A bird at Birdham

After a lovely day with my friend Carmel doing a bit of sewing (she made a lovely bag!)  we went over to check on the boat and fix a couple of things.

The light was beautiful, as it often is down there, and we spotted this egret (I think that's what it is) doing a bit of fishing.  I think I caught it just as it took it's head out of the water so you can see where it had just dunked in.

A night in now, watching another gripping episode of The Bridge.
