Lochan Deo

Back in the Rothiemurchus Forest in the Cairngorms National Park, for the October leg of my Lairig Ghru walk.  Despite the arrival of autumn, the weather was still distinctly shirt-sleeves at least later in the day.  The lush greens around Lochan Deo are now looking distinctly brown, although the water levels are still lower than I would have expected.
