A guide in a dark world

A work colleague is helping as a volunteer and taking care of guide dogs when there is an emergency situation (e.g. the dog owner has to go to hospital for some time). There are other aids to guide blind people, as this example here from Zürich mainstation, indicating towards which platforms the stairs are leading.
