..... twenty-five of the heaviest and fattest women in England!! Lol since we are all nowliving in a politically correct world I'd like to see someone getting away with an advert like that today :)

These are a few of the newspaper clippings from my 2nd great grandfather Maurice Pardo who was a trick cyclist and likewise his children and wife were also in his troupe - my ambition is to try and locate some photos to go with the newspapers (which are many; I can follow their careers over 20 years then the trail goes cold). I wonder what his dentist fatehr and grandfatehr thought about him breaking tradition and becomming a showman?
