First day back

Missed my boys today, sort of, i mean i did but i also did enjoy the quietness and the cleanliness. 

I've been a bit absent on here,the past few days sort of flew by.

So they were all eager to go to school today, no tantrums, no issues which surprised me but i took it and ran with it! It was really warm in the morning so was nice to wait at gate and walk to school. 

I think they've been needing routine, with the time change and the warmer weather they have all been up later at night , then sleeping in. Harper was either skipping a nap or having it much later in the day so the days felt long.

Harper had an awful night, i cant figure out still what caused it but he woke at 10pm crying and sobbed for ages. Andre took him for a drive, we did everything to try soothe him, we gave him pain relief thinking perhaps he was overtired and needed a bit of help to get back to  sleep.

He finally went down again at 1am after reading numerous books and him wanting to play, i couldn't keep my eyes open. He woke again around 230 crying, so this time i gave him nurofen which i find seems to work better for him, he fell asleep at 3 then woke around 330, he had a few drinks of water then dropped off around 4. 

Andre was then up at 5 for work and Marley woke at 6am so i figured i may as well just get up. Harper slept until 7am getting up like nothing had happened, all cheery and happy.


Had a nice quiet day at home, Harper had a big nap so i had a lot of time to clean up and sit in my garden in silence!

After school today the boys were tired, i knew they would be, they had good first days back.

 Kanye sobbed off and on which is sort of normal for him when hes tired, but then after real tears and grabbing his head, he started vomiting. 

Then while vomiting he had a seizure. 

Andre and i had to hold him in recovery but sort of off the floor to stop him from breathing in or choking on his vomit. It was really difficult as his body initially went stiff (tonic) then he started convulsing (clonic).

 He has no power over his body- despite that he is powerful, well his muscles are powerful. We held him as tight as we could to stop him from falling to the ground even though he was partially sitting on the floor.

He came out in a rash all over i think from heat, when he came to he was really distressed, its hard for him when he has seizures its quite painful and he becomes disoriented.

We put him in the shower, luckily we have a shower chair for these kinds of events, he used to regularly fall in the shower with seizures so the  chair was given to us to help him from hurting himself and give us the chance to hold him in the chair.

He was shaking so much when he got out of the shower though he was feverish he could barely walk so we wrapped him in towels and Andre carried him to his bed where we dressed him and then Andre lay with him as he was upset, he feel asleep and slept for a while.

So all in all a nice day apart from my poor wee guy getting sick, hes been so well this winter. I took this pic of a gorgeous cherry blossom as i walked to the shop at 7pm to get a few things and supplies for Kanye, Marley came with me and helped me.
