Sunset over the Golf Course

Caught this just at the right moment. This is one of the best spots on the course for good sunsets looking west. Today we were passing as the sun slipped between a gap in the trees.

Susan was out with a friend in Tenterden most of the day. I caught up with a few chores in the morning before more experimentation with the new coffee maker. When Susan left I went for a swim, which turned out to be one of the best for a long time.

The afternoon was spend at the computer and phone, catching up on emails, calling the bank, that sort of thing. When Susan came home we set off for our walk in the last of the light. Supper was Scotch Broth, Susan had it plain, I put in some smoked salmon trimmings.

Only a few days now 'til we're off to the Lakes.
