Magic Circle

Another early start and a drive to Castlerigg stone circle for daybreak. The magical place soon worked its wonders when I heard a voice "are you Neil" yes you must be Michael of MyDartmoorWalks fame. It was an amazing blip meet with a photographer I admire for his knowledge of Dartmoor, his walks and superb landscape images, a real good humoured gentleman.

He had left me a message the night before suggesting a meet as we are both in the same area but I hadn't read it. I had thought I might just bump into him a t a place like this near Keswick and then within minutes of us arriving there we were shaking hands. This place really does have mystical powers :-)

At lunch time Jean, our visitor from Ayrshire, joined us for the rest of the week. She took a few wrong turns again which makes remembering the right way even more difficult for next time! Michael's map reading skills would have been very useful here.

Great day meeting old friends and new.
