Another lovely day.  The wind dropped completely in the afternoon and the lake was almost completely still.

We walked the peninsula track alongside Lake Tekapo from the Godley Peaks Road until it had warmed up a bit, and then drove to the Lake Alexandrina outlet to put the kayak in the water.  It was pleasant paddling.  There was a lot of birdlife on the lake including  Australasian grebes, but although they were interacting and making lots of noise, they didn't come very close.
