Damsel in the lavender
We took the plunge today and booked a week's stay in a very small National Trust cottage in Snowdonia. We should be able to get away after son number one's graduation and flat clearing. I've never been to that part of Wales so it could be an adventure - may be drier than camping given our summer so far.
I was looking for the shiny Rosemary beetles that I'd spotted last year in the lavender when I noticed this damselfly. It sat still for me but did move round the stem when I got too close.
Have already enjoyed the Grand Prix en famille and looking forward to the football later.
