Lochbuie Post Office

A very cool post office in a stunning setting!

No longer used as a post office, it has been turned into a funky honesty shop ... teas, coffees, cakes, ice creams, homemade meals, cards, art, woodwork, handcrafted knits ... all kinds of things ... and a box for the money!!

We even met the local postie ... turns out he lives across the road from the cottage where we are staying! He was telling us that the new postbox (put in by one of the young guys) faces into the wind and rain ... so it's just as well there is never poor weather on Mull!!!

The view over the sea from where granny and CrocGirl sit was simple breathtaking! The dander to the ruins of Moy Castle was lovely in the glorious sun!

We tried to buy some fresh mussels on our way home ... but the mussel farm were sold out ... sad times!! Over an hour away I don't think we will be able to "pop back tomorrow"!!
