One of the natives...!

As we were driving to get the ferry to Iona today a handful of highland cows sauntered out onto the road ahead of and around us ...

... we reckoned they had right of way and they were certainly skilled at owning the road!!

I wound down the window and grabbed a quick pic ... they were as close as a hand's length from the car ... in fact granny was telling us that the van behind bumped one gently to tell it to "move on"!!!

I reckon that this one has the same barber as our mutt ... both rocking the Afro wig!!

I do love highland cattle - such funky beasts!!
