Autumn's here!

I'm still not feeling 100%, but after a morning at home I needed to get out for a couple of hours.

I had a happy time sitting in my van, next to a dung heap - always a good spot for bird watching and clearing your lungs!

Although I saw distant bramblings and fieldfares at Kilnsea on Tuesday, I feel they don't count unless I've found them for myself - so here are my first self-found fieldfares and a brambling. I saw a big flock of little birds and took a snap - and was very pleased to see I'd photographed a brambling when I zoomed in - but when I got my binoculars it seemed like he may have been the only one, as the rest of the flock were chaffinches.
