Finally have a use for this

What you see here is the trailer we found, which I now have a use for.

Someone suggested we buy a dump trailer. It's a nice idea, but they start at $2.5k for a small one, and as much as I'd love to have another cool toy, I don't have use for one. A nice one would be $4k anyway.

One of my big problems when doing the properties is trash. We generate loads of it, and in the past, someone used to haul it off. More recently we've had dumpsters in. But we do generate trash at an alarming rate at times. And the local tip is only 15 miles away. So gonna see how a trip there goes next week.

Then, once I know that works (can't see why it wouldn't but hate new experiences), we can make up this trailer as a trash trailer, put sides on it, and then leave it on site, and when it's full cart it off to the tip. That's my plan. How we get the trash out is another question. Ideas welcome.

So....all this trailer needs is some treated plywood for the sides, couple of studs for the hubs, and a new wheel. And some lights and a coat of paint wouldn't go amiss.
