One way

There is a saying in Switzerland that when people from Bern and other places in the German-speaking part of Switzerland emerge from the tunnel and see this part of Lac Leman, they throw their return tickets out of the window and stay forever. The view is indeed breathtaking and I still look forward to it every time I travel on the train from Bern to Lausanne. I certainly managed to stay in either place for about 7 years.

Tonight was the celebration of our anticipated holidays (not just yet but nearly...) and we had a fondue (it was cold enough for it) accompanied by some proper Swiss white wine. It was lovely and I am soooo ready to go to Switzerland.
