Thanks Sis.

I finished work at 3.30 today and headed straight to the house.  I managed to pull down all the polystyrene coving in the lounge and pull down the wooden railing before Stu had even got back.  Stu started pulling the plaster off the front wall in the second bedroom, and I started stripping the wallpaper in the hallway when my lovely sister Gem turned up to help.  We started off well but got slightly distracted when we decided to have a competition to see who could get the biggest piece of raised floral pattern off the wallpaper in one piece.  As you can see from the photo Gem was the winner!
We did manage to do quite a bit but the wallpaper is that thick it has to be stripped off in three separate layers.  The same wallpaper is in the hall stairs and landing so fingers crossed Gem is going to come round to help again soon.
