Boys and their toys.

Up early this morning as we had someone coming to give a rough quote for work on the extension.  We are going to try and do as much as we can ourselves to keep costs down, so are trying to get quotes from individual people rather than a company to just come in and do it.  This morning my moms friends husband Milt came.  He was giving us an idea of how much it would cost for the brick laying but has other contacts that might come in handy.  After that Jodie came round with her Mom and Dad.  Her dad Roger knows loads and gave Stu some useful advice.
After another run to the tip we popped to Screwfix so Stu could get a electric chisel.  My dad had leant us one but the battery kept running out so Stu wanted to get a mains one.  After many days and night of manually chiselling plaster off the wall I thinks he decided something more powerful was needed.  I spent the afternoon doing what I'm best at - stripping more walls.  We are making so much mess but strangely its starting to look better.
