Carping on

Another sunny day but this time I headed inland to the loch in search of a sunset. There were lots of fishermen around the banks of the loch complete with tent and rubber dinghy all settled down to spend the night lochside for the sake of fishing. Or they could be trying to avoid the X factor.

This is Derek who was fishing for Carp. Not that it looked a very strenous sport. A lot of opportunity for quiet contemplation from what I could see.  If they eventually do catch a Carp they release it back into the water. Not sure what they do if they catch a Pike. As he was spending the night lochside at least he had this view of the sunset to keep him warm during the night. (See extra photo).

You wouldn't catch me doing any of that.
