The Curse Of The Black Duck

A rubber duck is "eine Gummiente" in German.  And this one is sitting on the fire escape ladder on our balcony.

I'm holding it responsible for last night.

I woke up at 5 chilled to the bones.  I had to get half dressed to get anywhere near warm.  And then I couldn't get back to sleep.

My cold/man-flu/near-death-experience was brutal.  I can barely move and I'm sure my sneezes register on the Richter Scale.  It was not a happy day.
