Morning coffee

I had a meeting in Hale at ten o'clock, this morning. Yesterday, the client rang to say he had a doctor's appointment first thing but should still be back in time for our meeting. I told him not to worry and that I'd be able to amuse myself until he arrived, which I did by settling myself down outside at Carluccios.

It was a lovely autumnal morning with a slight chill in the air, which was nicely offset by my coffee. I spent a little time on Instagram, read a few pages of my book, and occasionally looked up to watch the world go by. It was so pleasant that I was a bit disappointed when my client rang to say he'd arrived home.
