Dinghy

12.5C with thin cloud cover. Light breeze.

Grocery shopping this morning then home.

Before lunch Apothecary7 and I took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. We came back along the cycle path then went down to the beach at Westhaven via the road bridge over the railway. The tide was well out. We walked over the rocks, seaweed, and wet sand right out to the seaward end of the channel through the rocks. The dinghy belonging to the skipper of Valhalla A was tied up just offshore. No sign of Valhalla A.

We came back over the road bridge over the railway then carried on round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.

World Cup rugby union on the telly this afternoon. Ireland beaten by Argentina !
Next up Scotland v Australia ...
