Alien?

No, just a mushroom.
There was a fascinating documentary on BBC4 last night about funghi and how they can be so destructive in some ways but helpful in others.
They are something I have only really become interested in since joining blip so I took a trip to the park this morning and saw many different types. I assume these holes are not a natural part of this variety but more like slug damage. I was slightly tempted to draw a smile on in photoshop but I will leave that to your imagination. I think it still looks like a very cute alien with or without a mouth!
