Pond lily seed pod
I have been trying to blip these seed heads for a few weeks now. There is only a small window of time when the sun is shining on them and I have kept missing it.
The pond has been very overgrown this year but I have spent time today clearing it out. Everytime I pulled out a clump frogs would leap out and scamper away to safety. Despite the fact that the rooks have spent the summer eating the snails they still seem to be thriving. I even still have a few tadpoles - not sure they will survive when the temperature falls. I suppose they are all signs of a healthy pond.
