Għajn Tuffieħa Tower - built in 1637

After a decent sleep we headed off down to the hotel's private beach but decided to go up a level to their 'adults only sun deck due to the cramped nature of the beach brollies and loungers.
Unfortunately the private beach is only one end of one of the most popular beaches on Malta with a cafe overlooking which happens to be a meeting place for every motorbike on the island who insists on arriving and leaving at full revs.
And who knew that Malta has its own chapter of the Hells Angels (who also like coffee and ice-cream).

After last night's blow out meal we settled for making a ham and cheese sandwich after which SWMBO went for a siesta and I went for a walk  up to the tower.

When I got back to the hotel I found that Del & Rodney need to add Malta to their list of outlets now ......all is revealed in the other pictures.

The camp site under our window has emptied this evening (hopefully it will stay that way .... the kids and family arguments could get quite loud).

There are more pictures posted HERE and I hope to continue doing that for the rest of the week (or thereafter should things get busy}
