This view

is the back side view of the mountains that are across from the house where we are staying. We are actually in Wyoming on this road, leaving Medicine Bow National Forest.  There is nothing here but a few cattle ranches.  But also a big gate is behind us at the entrance to the forest that gets closed when the road gets too snow covered or icy which is usually in November.  There is really not color left on the trees up in the forest, the elevation being over 10,000 feet in places and the Continental Divide is at the highest point.

Last drive up that way for us as we won't be able to go home that way..we will have to go the long way around.
