A storm coming

I did the long drive to town today to pick up some groceries and on the long drive back I watched the clouds dropping rain all over the mountains except where I was..thankful for that.

This view is of the mountain across from the house again..it is a big mountain!..from Hwy 70 near Dixon, Wyoming..population 35 or so which is about 15 miles from where we are staying.  There is nothing there except a handful of ranchers and a cowboy saloon..on a dirt road!
The only paved road in the area is the state highway. This is still the Wild West!  

I love this windmill in the sun with the storm cloud over the mountain!

And guess what, when I got back to the house..no rain here!  It must have been way over the mountain.
