The Mariners Church, Detroit, Michigan, USA

Read about its history here and also more info here ...... this is one of the most famous churches in Detroit and mentioned in the song The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald (one of my favourites - if you don't know it, please listen to the words).

Standing in the shadow of the GM building it shows the old and the new in harmony. I love Detroit!!!
