Another encounter...

....as you know it's difficult to take a stroll through the Peebles Cemetery without coming across someone whom I know, or know of.    John Burleigh's "A Church History of Scotland" has been on my bookshelf for years, along with its wonderful insert at the back representing the divisions and reunions in the history of the Church of Scotland (which looks very like the plan for a goods marshalling yard on the railway.).   

Friends at church bought the Burleigh's house, and when they went to see it couldn't believe the number of books therein (and they are book lovers themselves!)
