Whinlatter

Decided to visit Whinlatter Forest today and walk the circuit taking in Lords Seat and Barf. Checked the weather forecast this morning ……… cloudy but no rain and a light wind. 

Driving towards Keswick the windscreen wipers were put into action. We could see brighter weather to the east but continued with our plan as I expected it to clear.  It didn’t, we got wet, but still enjoyed the walk. 

Coffee and cake afterwards …….. very nice, then home for a late lunch. I won’t start on car parking charges and pay machines that wouldn’t work or it will make my average word count soar.
