A morning spent shopping in Kendal, first in the town centre then out at the supermarkets.  The sky was blue when I left Asda to drive home but by the time I’d finished lunch and got out for a wander it was clouding over.

I went up through Skelghyll Woods to Jenkins Crag. There were some fallen leaves and ferns dying back but it was still very green compared with the autumnal shades elsewhere.
